Decision Assurance™ — Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Monthly Subscriptions

Decision Assurance currently offers monthly subscription plans, including:

• Professional — $399/month. Up to 3 new Decision Cases per subscription billing period.
• Executive — $799/month. Up to 10 new Decision Cases per subscription billing period.

Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period until canceled.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the billing-management functionality provided through your Decision Assurance account or our authorized payment provider.

Unless otherwise stated during cancellation, cancellation stops the subscription from renewing at the end of the current paid billing period.

You may continue using paid subscription functionality available to your plan through the remainder of that paid period, subject to these Terms and applicable usage limits.

3. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where:

• A refund is required by applicable law;
• A duplicate or erroneous charge is confirmed;
• An unauthorized transaction is established through the applicable payment process; or
• Decision Assurance determines, in its discretion, that exceptional circumstances justify a refund.

Cancellation generally does not produce a prorated refund or credit for an unused portion of the current billing period.

This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights provided by applicable law.

4. Decision Case Capacity

Subscription fees purchase access to the applicable monthly Decision Case capacity and related Service functionality.

Unused Decision Case capacity does not roll over into future billing periods unless Decision Assurance expressly states otherwise.

Deleting, abandoning, or otherwise manipulating a Decision Case does not restore capacity already consumed by creation of that Decision Case.

Existing eligible in-progress Decision Cases may continue according to the Service's applicable rules even when the organization's new-case capacity has been reached.

5. Completed Decision Assets™

Cancellation of a subscription does not ordinarily remove access to completed Decision Assets already preserved in the organization's Decision Capital™.

Decision Assurance does not require an organization to continue purchasing new Decision Case capacity solely to retrieve completed Decision Assets it has already created, subject to reasonable account, security, retention, legal, technical, and service-continuity requirements.

Creating additional Decision Cases may require a new or active subscription.

6. Upgrades

Customers may upgrade from Professional to Executive where that functionality is available.

Any charges, billing adjustments, effective dates, or prorations associated with an upgrade will be presented through the applicable billing process.

Decision Assurance does not promise a particular proration treatment beyond what is displayed and agreed to during the transaction.

7. Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe or Decision Assurance may attempt to collect payment again according to the applicable billing settings.

Access to paid functionality may be restricted or suspended when payment remains outstanding.

Previously preserved Decision Assets will be handled according to the Decision Capital provisions of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Free First Decision

The First Decision — Free offer is not a paid subscription and therefore has no subscription fee to refund.

It provides an eligible organization with one free first Decision Case subject to the applicable Terms.

It is not a time-based free trial.
